CRF250L! Light Enduro?

There is a trail on a road that I often pass. I thought that I would be able to make it down the trail and enjoy the ride if I had a new tire. I went to check it out and little did I know, I have absolutely no skills when it comes to running up a super rough hill.

My first thought is to blame the bike. The CRF250L is “heavy” and “under-powered” and “the suspension sucks”. While there may be some valid arguments in those ideas, I think that a skilled rider would do a lot better than I fared.

I do have one thing to say that is true but sounds like a cop out. I don’t have a proper bash guard, or skid plate, on the bottom of the bike so I was legitimately worried about running at some of those rocks and things at full speed. On top of that, from mountain biking experiences when I was a teenager, I don’t want to get injured alone on a trail, especially one that is not popular. Finally, I only have one bike and I am not in a financial situation where I could do serious repairs or replace it. I didn’t want to risk doing anything that would leave me in a place where I can not ride.

Anyways, I hope that you liked the video. Please leave a comment here or on YouTube. Thanks for reading and watching!
